What we can prove, what we are measuring, and what we aim for.
Every figure on this page carries a label stating exactly what kind of claim it is. We never combine verified results, operational records, targets and estimates in a single headline number.

What SFN measures.
The current two-school, two-cycle pilot tests whether the model is repeatable. These are the variables being collected and the state of each.
Financial and agronomic performance
Cost per acre, yield per crop cycle, revenue per harvest and reinvestment capacity.
Evidence being collectedMeals and school benefit
Value delivered to each school against its agreement, primarily meals or value in kind.
Evidence being collectedEmployment
Paid work created, segmented by gender and age, including roles for women and trainees aged 18 to 35.
Evidence being collectedStudent learning and engagement
How students engage with the farm as a practical learning environment.
Not yet measuredLand productivity and resilience
Soil condition, water use and the productive change on previously unused land.
Evidence being collectedOperational lessons
What each cycle teaches about site selection, infrastructure, labour and offtake.
Evidence being collectedIndependent verification.
Pilot records are structured so that outcomes can be independently verified. As verification and research partnerships are confirmed, their findings will be published here, including where results fall short of targets.
Reports and evidence.
Downloadable pilot reports will be published as each crop cycle completes and its records are verified.
